Axiology (from Greek ἄξιa, axia, "value, worth"; and -λογία, -logia) is the study of value of worth
Your values are those areas of your life that are currently the most important to you.
They are also known as personal values.
Your life demonstrates what is really important to you, by the way you spend your time, the way you spend your money or the way you accumulate energy (from activities that you like).
Values may change in time. For example, in adolescence your friends can be your first priority, while at 30 the idea of having a family can become the #1 priority.
Values are very specific things that someone on the outside can usually easily notice. For example, friends can tell if sport is important to you or less important.
When you know your Values, you can make decisions easier, it's easier for you to say no to activities that are not among your priorities and to avoid many unnecesarry frustrations.
When you focus your energy into activities that are in your Highest Values, you can have brilliant ideas and you can achieve maximum performance.
